Eh, I didn't really "fall" to the cheese, I got him down to one more attack would kill each time.  If I could have just gained like a few life or something, enough to live through the intial blast, my non-basic landwalkers would have shredded that bitch.

I'll be there tomorrow, to claim the prize! (or just beat Matt really).

i had a good time last night. A ton of people showed up which is great. matt actually didnt play his net deck, and looked like he made something on his own accord. Which is what we want matt =D. My straight green worked out pretty well, hit hard and fast. Except a couple of games where i had 5 lands in my hand, and i am like ok, i shouldnt get anymore. next 7 draw lands. Its like Rob's house all over again!! Bastage!!

I had to break down and buy some sleeves, at 3.50/pack, that hurt. Bought 4 packs of them, enough for 3 decks. Felt raped afterwards. I am glad that Rob won, and not that other kid. The attitude of, I don't know if i win, so i wont play you shit, wow what can i say, its a fucking card game. Grow up. Not like the loser has to play russian roulette(sp).

Overall a good night, in another week or 2, I'll have my blue/black dick up and running.  And I have my green to fall back onto now.

I am gonna do something boom/bust. Thinking boom/bust, greater gargadon, and splashing prolly white. Or green for mana accelerating. Pop a few creatures out, pop all the lands, sac my remaining lands to the gargadon, maybe float mana for a life from the loam. Hmm sounds good, red/green. Radha can go in too.....

For you U/B do you want those watery graves?  I think I actually got another one.  I'd sell you all four for 44$ (11$ each, should be cheaper than the bay) or I'd trade for four breeding pools.

Let me know on that, or if you're not, then I'll just chuck them on the bay.

I think your green is actually very good.  Basically the same, but different than mine.  Yours has some late stabalizers (broken warhammer) and some quick hitting shit, so it's got the best of both worlds.  My deck just hits really fucking hard in the first 4-6 turns and if you live through the storm, then you're fine.  I should sideboard, but that's effort, and I got an F for effort.

I'll pass on the watery graves for now. So go ahead and toss them on ebay. I don't have any breeding pools.

That's all my loxes are for, is endgame shit. That way, I can gain some life and put away that last bit of dmg i need to do. Otherwise, i would just throw in 4 evolution charms for pulling back ground breakers, or giant growth, or something like that.

My opinion on the loxes is because you refuse to remove that crutch from your end game Tongue

On the bay they go.  I fgured I'd offer them though, since I do have them.

Stupid fucking elephants. Tongue

I don't refuse to remove them. I just don't have a card that is better than them right now. Honestly, if i had 4 might of oaks, I'd prolly run those. In most cases when I have a lox, I have the person pretty low, and i could just use the might  of oaks to kill them, instead of playing a lox, waiting a turn to equip the lox. Then start swinging. Don't get me wrong, lox is sweet as hell, but i'd rather have an instant pump. I just wish there was something like might of oaks, that added trample as well... Like maybe +5/+5 and trample for 4.

But for now, the loxes will sit until i acquire something better. I actually debated throwing in 4 keen senses in place of the loxes as well, more draw for green = the shit.

I know you don't play, but I thought I'd mention EVERY type 2 deck I play has ran at least 3 loxes.
